Omnilink Systems, a market leader in location solutions that help ensure the safety and security of people and valuable assets, as well as the recovery of any that go missing, recently expanded its executive team with the addition of Suzanne Henderson as vice president of engineering. Henderson is responsible for overseeing all application development initiatives at Omnilink as the company focuses on launching new personal tracking applications and building unique location solutions for all types of enterprises. She is based in the company’s Atlanta office and reports to Omnilink’s CEO, Wain Kellum.

Launched today, the Alzheimer's Association Comfort Zone™, powered by Omnilink, is the first comprehensive location management system designed specifically for Alzheimer’s, giving people with the disease more freedom and independence in their community while providing their family some peace of mind. Comfort Zone is a Web-based application that works with various location devices throughout the progression of the disease to proactively communicate the location of the person with Alzheimer’s within two to 30 minutes, based on the family’s selected plan. Comfort Zone also offers families assistance with 24/7 monitoring center services and access to emergency health records from the MedicAlert Foundation

Charlotte Mecklenburg County Police Department (CMPD) is leveraging the GPS/cellular electronic monitoring solution from Omnilink to track offenders awaiting trial on a variety of crimes. The tracking program has enabled the county and community to monitor individuals that have been released on bond to ensure that they appear for their trial , and to help ensure that they do not commit additional crimes while they are awaiting trial.
