SENIOR .NET SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Omnilink Systems is looking for an energetic Software Engineer to join a talented team focused on developing advanced location based services solutions. The Software Engineer will be responsible for development of RESTful Web Services and ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC 3 web applications. He or she must welcome accountability, be goal oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
Location- Alpahretta, GA
Job Duties
- Create new software features and architectural changes to:
- a robust Web Services environment
- ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC Web applications
- Work on software issues reported by customers
- Create and execute thorough unit tests
- Work with Product Management to evaluate requirements
Required Skills
- 10+ years experience developing software
- 7+ years experience using Microsoft .NET
- Experience with Microsoft .NET 3.5 / 4.0
- Deep knowledge of ASP.NET
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC 2/3
- Extensive use of ADO.NET, Oracle 11g
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services using WCF
- Strong debugging, problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent team skills
- Demonstrated success with commercial software code in production
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Bing Maps
- Experience with Javascript and jQuery
- Experience with Cruise Control .NET
- Experience in the Location Based Services field considered a plus
- Knowledge of the telephony industry considered a plus
