SENIOR BREW ENGINEER


As a senior BREW engineer, the qualified candidate will be part of a team responsible for developing mobile/embedded software for multiple Location based devices. The candidate will be involved in all phases of the product life cycle, from conception thru field support. Experience with Qualcomm BREW environment is a must.

Location- Alpahretta, GA

Job Requirements

  • BS from an accredited university in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with solid academic record; MS preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with the full product life cycle, from conception to field support
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Mobile and Embedded application development
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in development of Mobile Applications in Qualcomm Brew technology
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in development of embedded application in C for ARM processors
  • Ability to design, code, unit and regression testing of embedded applications starting from given requirements and work independently in small team is required
  • Excellent communication skills

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Qualcomm GPS One technology.
  • Experience with GPS modules.
  • Experience with brew distribution and testing process.
  • Experience in debugging mobile applications using tools provided by brew platform.
  • A commitment to automated unit and regression testing at the embedded software level.
  • Experience troubleshooting embedded software using ARM/JTAG debuggers.
  • Experience working with compliance and certification laboratories.
  • Experience in working with voice/dialer applications is a plus.
