Channel Sales Manager / Western U.S. Region
The Channel Sales Manager (CSM) is responsible for achieving sales quota targets in a designated territory in cooperation with our Alliance partners. The CSM will need to be a “Hunter” and capture mindshare of our Alliance partners to increase pipeline and sell Omnilink solutions into their customer base.
Location: San Francisco, CA or Western U.S.
Primary Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets for given territory.
- Act as the primary contact with the Alliance sales representatives to build a deep pipeline and help convert prospects to sales.
- Deliver professional sales presentations via phone, webinar, and in-person.
- Manage pilot programs for a successful outcome.
- Contribute to RFP’s in support of opportunities.
- Train, coach and educate Alliance’s sales teams on Omnilink’s competitive advantages, solutions, promotions, and operating procedures.
- Participate in Alliance partners’ sales meetings, events, and customer facing activities to create a bias for Omnilink solutions.
- Accurately forecast and track sales and lead activities using Netsuite CRM system.
- Ensuring that all sales-related issues are solved expediently, and all non-sales issues are delegated to the appropriate staff and followed to completion.
- Completing sales-related administrative work as required (e.g. CRM, status reports)
- Travel up to 50% regionally.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must Have
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years software solution sales with a “Hunter” mentality to close deals quickly.
- Track record of exceeding quota through successful channel sales with wireless carriers and other channel partners.
- Ability to demonstrate sales fundamentals, management of metrics, and execution.
- Ability to sell a variety of complex technical solutions across industries.
- Superior presentation skills, communication skills, and compelling delivery.
Preferred
- BA/BS degree
- Experience working with Location Based Services and wireless data solutions.
